Elsevier Science Direct Orientation for B.E. OEC-11 (CCDM) Students

The Learning and Information Resource Centre (LIRC), SFIT, conducted an orientation programme on Elsevier ScienceDirect for 51 B.E. OEC-11 (CCDM) students.

The session was organized with the support of Dr. Hariprasad C., enabling students to become familiar with one of the world's leading scientific research databases.

Topics covered included:

  • Searching multidisciplinary research literature
  • Accessing full-text journal articles
  • Identifying highly cited publications
  • Using keywords effectively
  • Supporting project work with authentic scholarly resources

The orientation encouraged students to adopt research-driven learning practices and utilize quality literature for academic and professional growth.
