On August 12th , we came together to celebrate Librarians’ Day , a date that holds special significance in the world of library science. This day marks the birth anniversary of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan , widely regarded as the Father of Library Science in India . His visionary contributions laid the foundation for modern library systems, and his famous Five Laws of Library Science continue to guide us in nurturing knowledge and access to information. A Living Tribute – The Feedback Tree 🌳 To honor his legacy and bring the spirit of continuous growth and engagement into our library space, we created a unique and interactive installation: the Feedback Tree . Leaves on the tree symbolized suggestions from students and staff – ideas for improvement, new additions, or dreams for the future of our library.
