5) Google Scholar is a freely accessible bibliographic database which facilitates easy access to the metadata of scholarly published content. It allows a researcher / author to upload bibliographic data of his / her publications for enhanced visibility. The most important feature of Google Scholar is the metrics i.e. the h-index and the number of citations received for your published article. These citation metrics are updated automatically. An alert is raised when someone cites your publication.
