💰 Funding & Grant Breakdown
Total Supported Projects: Maximum of 5 joint research projects.
Maximum Funding Limit: Up to ₹12,00,000 (Twelve Lakh INR) per project.
Primary Expense Intent: Mobility of researchers (travel, lodging, and ground hospitality).
Travel Split: The visiting side bears international & domestic inter-city air travel. The receiving side bears boarding, local lodging, and ground transportation expenses.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: Principal Investigators (PIs) must hold a PhD or equivalent degree.
Employment Status: Must hold a regular research or academic position at a recognized institution (e.g., publicly funded universities/colleges, UGC-recognized deemed universities, or ICSSR research institutes).
Bilateral Development: Proposals must be jointly developed by an Indian PI and a Taiwanese PI.
⚠️ Application Rules & Submissions
Dual Submission Mandatory: The Indian PI must submit the proposal format to ICSSR, while the Taiwanese PI must concurrently submit the complementary application to NSTC. Unilateral submissions will be automatically rejected.
Submission Format: Indian applicants are required to submit both an electronic copy and a physical hard copy to ICSSR on or before the August 3, 2026 deadline.
IPR Agreement: Before final processing, collaborating PIs must outline mutual agreements concerning the management, ownership, and operational framework of potential Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) resulting from the project.
