Reading Inspiration Week 8 to 15 October 2018: Report

To commemorate the birth anniversary of our Ex.President and Visionary Scientist, Late Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam on 15th October, the Learning and Information Resource Centre is organizing the following activities:

An Inhouse exhibition of a variety of books on subjects other than engineering such as Psychology, Presentation Skills, Management, Leadership.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A few CDs received along with books and magazines were kept for “Take Away” for the benefit of members. As many as 72 CDs were taken by students

 

Our faculty members, students - both current and alumni are gracious book donors, thereby refreshing our collection. Thanks to all of them! We continued with their legacy by making these books available “free of cost” to anyone who visited the library on that day. A total of 255 books were displayed and all these books were happily carried by our students and staff members.


28 books from the Book Bank were kept for sale at a minimum cost for the benefit of our members.









8 books on the theme Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam were kept on display. Many students borrowed the books inspired by the life of the great scientist of India.

e PG Pathshala: A Gateway to all Post Graduate Courses

1.What is e-PGPathshala? e-PGPathshala is a one portal under which High quality, curriculum-based,interactive content in different subjects across all disciplines of social sciences, arts, fine arts & humanities, natural & mathematical sciences, linguistics and languages is being developed.An MHRD, under its National Mission on Education through ICT (NME-ICT), has assigned work to the UGC for development of e-content in 77 subjects at postgraduate level. The content and its quality is the key component of education system. 2.Terminology in e-PGp and MOOCs 3.What is difference between e-PG Pathshala and SWAYAM? e-PG Pathshala provides e-content for post-graduate courses in various subjects in four quadrant.
