📚 One-Day Online Hands-on Workshop on Koha

Library Automation Using Open Source

The FOSSEE (Free/Libre and Open Source Software for Education) Project, IIT Bombay, under the aegis of the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT), is organizing a one-day online hands-on workshop on Koha in collaboration with the Learning and Information Resource Centre (LIRC), St. Francis Institute of Technology, Mumbai, and in partnership with EduPyramids and SINE, IIT Bombay.

The workshop is designed to introduce participants to Koha and the fundamentals of library automation using open-source technology.

🎯 Why should you attend?

Library automation is no longer simply about moving from manual records to software. It is about creating smarter, more accessible and technology-enabled library services.

Koha offers libraries an open-source approach to managing library operations while giving library professionals an opportunity to build valuable technical skills.

  • 📖 Librarians and library professionals
  • 💻 Information professionals
  • 🎓 LIS students and educators
  • 🏫 Academic and institutional libraries
  • 🔍 Professionals interested in open-source library technologies
