Biotechnology Career Advancement and Re-orientation (BioCARe) Programme for Women Researchers – 2026–27 Government of India Ministry of Science & Technology Department of Biotechnology The Department of Biotechnology (DBT) invites applications from eligible women researchers under the Biotechnology Career Advancement and Re-orientation (BioCARe) Programme for Women Researchers for the year 2026–27 . Objective The programme aims to enhance the participation of women researchers and support their career development in Biotechnology and allied areas . Eligibility Indian women nationals, up to 55 years of age , residing in India and unemployed as on the closing date . Project duration: up to 3 years . Category I: Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Life Sciences/allied/interdisciplinary areas, MD, MDS or M.V.Sc. Category II: M.Tech. in Biotechnology/allied areas, M.Pharma or equivalent degree.
