In its ongoing effort to maintain indexing quality and curb unethical or predatory publishing practices, Scopus continuously monitors and re-evaluates journals indexed in its database. Below is a detailed breakdown of the 14 journal titles that have recently experienced indexation updates (either complete Discontinuation or Journal Change Policy ) based on the latest Scopus title updates. What Does This Mean for Authors and Researchers? 1. Difference Between "Discontinuation" and "Journal Change Policy" Discontinuation : The journal has been officially removed from Scopus indexing (typically flagged via automated radar tools, publication volume anomalies, or peer review quality concerns). Articles published after the listed cutoff issue will not be indexed in Scopus.
