Reading Inspiration Day, also known as Vaachan Prerna Diwas, is an annual celebration held on October 15th to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the 11th President of India. Dr. Kalam was a staunch advocate of reading and believed that it was the key to unlocking one's potential and achieving great things in life. Celebration of Reading Inspiration Day in SFIT LIRC
Reading Inspiration Day was celebrated with a variety of events and activities aimed at promoting reading and encouraging individuals to pick up a book. The following activities were organized as part of the celebrations:
Rightly so, our Learning and Information Resource Centre (Central
Library) celebrated this big with great enthusiasm. The Best Library Users of
the last Academic Year were appreciated and felicitated at the hands of our
